Foresight
Based on the indicators and parameters identified and analysed and reported in the above report plus the scenarios established, the study team will develop a foresight model to derive a projection of future diffusion rates of e-skilled individuals in the workforce in general and of relevant demand and supply factors in relation to e-skills (e.g. the workforce with tertiary education by field of education in the EU Member States or the percentage of enterprises in the EU employing ICT specialists). The model will be populated to establish a forecast of e-skills / ICT practitioner skills demand and supply based on the input and foundation from the previous parts of the project. The model will use the key quantitative variables identified in the study scenarios and estimate the quantitative impacts of the (minimum) three scenarios in terms of the supply and demand of e-skills. The resulting outcome will be delivered in a foresight report presenting an analysis and an assessment of the evolution of the supply and demand of e-skills (for ICT practitioners). The foresight report will present analysis and assessment of the forecasted e-skills supply and demand situation, draw relevant conclusions and provide policy recommendations.
